Good Evening members. This thread will explain how to use the C-box and the features it has, being this is a premium C-box. First things first how to register your name so only you may use it to stop people impersonating you ; because we don’t like people who try to be someone there not. As it gets rather annoying and confusing at the best times

Q: How do I register my name in the C-box ?
A: To Register your name in the C-box, click "Set Your name" button located on the right hand side towards the bottom. Then you'll see three different ways to set your name. If you want to be anonymous, go that route, or there's a temporary name choice. Preferably what you want is the register a name option. Choose a name you want to use, and enter it into the field. Press sign up and fill in the required information, and you should be set to go.
Q: How do you I get an Avatar in the C-box ?
A: After registering a name, you should see an area where it asks to you upload the avatar you want to use. If not, try clicking your name and it'll bring up another screen and you should be able to add an avatar that way.
Q: I can't log in. It says my name has already been taken, or the email is already in use ?
A: Well, it says the email is already in use, it means you've already registered in a chatango box before. You may try and use another email address, if you have one, or try requesting a password / user name reminder.
If it says the user name is taken, you'll have to think of something a little more unique. :]
Q: What are the formatting codes?
A: Answer: You can format your font color and such by clicking on the icons above the message area.
Q: I already registered for the website/message boards, isn’t registering my name for the chatbox redundant?
A: Answer: NO! Registering your name for the chatbox is very important. It will allow you to have an avatar, and protected user name so that people can't impersonate you in the chat box.
Q: What is that annoying beep I keep hearing every time a message is sent ?
A: Well that's just a sound on the box that alerts you each time a post is sent. You can shut it off by clicking the sound icon, if it really bothers you.
chat box rules ,
1. Try to be friendly towards everyone. If you have a problem with someone on the cbox or the site, please notify staff of the situation.
2. The cbox should be in line with ProBoards TOS and all forum rules.
3. No role playing in the cbox please, that is to be kept for the boards only.
4. Please refrain from cursing in the cbox or using chat speak. Try to spell out everything you can so there's no confusion.
5. Avatars are allowed in the cbox - to install an avatar, just put the link of the image in the url/email field.
6. Although registering an account isn't an obligation, it does allow you to have more features on the cbox, such as the ability to delete your past message, and protection for your name, etc. It's easy to register an account:
- Type your desired name in the name field.
- Click the profile button.
- Submit a password, verify it, and press save.
- Your account should be registered and your name should be a light purple color.
If you have any problems registering, please feel free to send the [admin] account a PM.
7. Don't bug other members to post and refrain from asking staff to review your application. If you feel that your application / posts have been neglected then please use the PM system.
8. Report any spammers to staff immediately. Do not talk to them as this usually encourages them to continue to post. Staff members have the ability to ban/delete users and messages from the cbox.
