The year is 2380. The Starship Orion, a galaxy class starship, has just been deployed to start exploring the galaxy. Their mission was of discovery, though the ship was equipped with weapons just in case of battle. Their orders are to travel to the Delta Quadrant through a newly discovered worm hole found in Federation Space. Though the data brought by Captain Janeway and the crew of the Voyager, was quite a bit, there was much more to be discovered. The worm hole places the USS Orion near the outer rim of the Milky Way Galaxy, and keeps stable. The crew of the USS Orion began their exploration of the new world, having easy access to Earth when needed.
